Visit Schedule

WHAT? In preparation for the visit, we ask that each member of the School Leadership Team:
  • (Optional) Reads this blog post on “Charting our Course”

HOW?  We will visit each school in order to speak with the school leadership team. During this time we want to build relationships with school teams and answer any questions about our project goals and roadmap. We will also assess school strengths and areas for growth using our PL Implementation Framework in order to identify trends across the district. We will focus our discussion around the 10 key readiness categories identified in the self-assessment survey. Education Elements will share the results of this survey and lead a discussion around each category. Based on the results of the survey and the discussion led by EE, each school will come to consensus on their readiness level for each category.

Following the Readiness Assessment visit, Education Elements will conduct a Readiness Assessment Readout with the District PL Council. Following this readout, the district will share individual school Readiness Assessment Readouts with principals. During our next District PL Council meeting,  Education Elements will provide recommendations for focus areas.

Throughout our journey, we will revisit our progress in key areas as we attempt to improve student outcomes through a personalized learning approach.

If the readiness assessment is being conducted at your school, the readiness assessment should include the following three elements. However, given the schedule of your school, please feel free to change the order of these elements to best meet your needs.
