The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District’s mission is to empower all learners to positively shape their futures. Education in Alaska is moving into a new realm of innovation through personalization for students. The cornerstone of this movement from a district perspective is to provide the Professional Development that will allow the educators in KPBSD to grow their practice and acquire new knowledge, so we are faced with the need to provide Professional Development that helps teacher bridge the gap from current practice to personalization.

We are currently offering semester courses. All courses are offered through UAA, and are eligible for salary advancement and re-certification if it pertains to your immediate teaching assignment.
