Please submit this quick form to have your event added to the PL Calendar. In order to keep Learning Walks open for people to attend from across the district, it is important to keep the calendar updated. 
Prepare your Staff

Identify & Prepare a facilitator
Make sure that a facilitator is identified and prepared for leading the Learning Walk using the tools linked here to help you.
Make a Schedule
The Administrator or assigned PL Team member should arrange the schedule. Schedule Template here!
Print copies of the printed companion
Make sure that everyone on going on the Learning Walk has a copy for notes and focusing the discussion. Printed Companion Example here! (If you have one specific to your school, copy that!)

Opening
The Learning Walk Facilitator conducts introductions, explains objectives, established guidelines and walkthrough process.
Walkthroughs
​The Learning Walk Team observes classrooms and conducts a hallway debrief with the teacher. ​Facilitator records debrief summary using the District Tool located in your school's resource folder.

Debrief
The Learning Walk Facilitator leads discussion to share initial impressions, reflections, and discuss questions.
Summary
A brief summary of trends and highlights along with pictures should be shared out to the staff and the District. (Document template, Slides Template, Other examples coming soon!
